Pure magic dear Nicolas! I had always loved these “error proof” dials …

Both in early Bubble back Rolex and Panerai watches. The 249 is so special indeed. Mine says hello and joins the celebration of this model and dial. Cheers! Abrazos! Abel

Hello dear friend H S for your participation. It´s an honor to host this weekend though I confess the pain is in my heart. The sad news surprised all of us and I had same feeling of unreal.

Yes, the Captain was very a passionate person and lived to the fullest and enjoying Life. He was a true Fighter for Life. This is a Big loss for our Community and a Big loss for his Family and for those who considered him a loved good friend. You share tw

I didn't use the 249 for so long....

I decided to let it go. I gifted it to one of my nephews that likes Panarai watches. Now he has 2: the 232 and the 249. Truth be told, I've never quite "salivated" after the 000. I bought a Logo, shortly after getting infected. And a few T-dialled ones wh

Panerai PAM 249 Radiomir " Cali ".

In my huge Panerai collection, there were three watches I wanted to keep: This " Cali ", the Pre Vendome Logo and Mare Nostrum. They were all gone the same day, alas. Here are two photos of the Cali. One taken by myself ( The Cali is one of the toughest w

Well put Bruno. I don't have a Fiddy but I do have a few other 47mm Panerais

My wrist is only 6.8" so these watches (673, 587, 249) look almost cartoonishly large, unless I'm in my submersible barreling underwater toward an enemy ship. But, oddly enough, they're comfortable ... and so beautiful that I don't have the heart to sell

I have a different opinion....

of course. For me, the "old school" should refer to the Florentine period. Timepieces with 3-6-9-12 dials or 3-6-9-12+small seconds counter, manual winding. Something like the 21, 232, 249, 002, 009 etc. A Submersible with the date window+cyclop, with an

Found a great strap for my 47mm Panerai's

I wanted to confirm that all of the 47mm Panerai's have 26mm lugs. Do the straps taper at the buckles? Here are my references in case the measurements vary. I'd appreciate if someone can confirm the measurements for a replacement strap for each of these r
